Exciting, New Art Classes for Children!!!

We are so excited!!! My husband and I are artists and have been for the last 21 years. We have always loved teaching our art to children and now finally, after all this time, we have a wonderful place to give our exciting and unusual classes. We have opened a new gallery in Salt Lake City and will be teaching children how to create our beautiful little Fairy Furniture, Fairy Houses and little characters, too. We will be teaching many other classes as well!!Our classes are during the week, afterschool and earlier in the day and evenings as well. We also have our classes on Saturdays all during the day. Here is a general schedule for our classes:
Monday through Saturday: (Mornings) 10:00 to 12:00, (Afternoons) 1:00 to 3:00, 4:00 to 6:00
Monday through Saturday: (Evenings) 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
(Exceptions): Because of Gallery Walk, the 3rd Friday of every month, we only offer classes that day from 10:00 to 12:00 and 1:00 to 3:00
Gallery walk is 5:00 to 9:00.
The cost of our classes is $25 per child for a two hour class; we provide all the materials. The class is for children ages 3 to 12. Just give us a call or email us to sign up for our classes.
The pictures here are from a recent class we gave in the Salt Lake area at a friend's home. It was the most fun we've had in such a long time. The children were so creative and excited. They made the most amazing works of art!! It was wonderful. We'll be adding more pictures of our classes as we go along and also pictures of our gallery so you can see what it is like.
Here is more information about our gallery and our classes: (We thought it would be fun to have a really unusual and fun name).
Our gallery is called:
"Marcel and Florette's Curious Menagerie".
351 West Pierpont Ave.
Salt Lake City, Utah
It is between 2nd and 3rd South and 3rd and 4th west, south of the Gateway Mall in downtown Salt Lake City.

We do encourage the children to spend a little time gathering materials themselves (or with a parent) if they can, so they can get the feeling of creating with nature and feel inspired by gathering materials in the natural world. But it is not required as we do have materials at the gallery; they're welcome to bring materials if they'd like to, though.
We will always have our classes on how to make our beautiful Fairy Furniture, Fairy Houses and little Forest People. We will also be teaching painting, sculpture, collage, mural painting, costume, puppet and doll making and writing poetry. We will also be working with children in making wonderful short films of their creations. They can make their works of art, then paint backgrounds and sets, write a story and then film their movie!! It will be a fantastic opportunity for children to learn the entire process of creating a film. It will be so much fun!
We will be offering one-time classes or on-going classes where children can work on longer projects and come back to the studio as their time allows. We are also available to give classes at children's birthday parties, too! A very different and fun acitivity for your child's special day!
Please contact us for more information on our classes. We love working with children and are so amazed at the wonderful creativity they have and the enthusiasm and energy they put into their creations!!
We look forward to hearing from you,
Debbie and Mike
